Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your Review Video account at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data when you do.

1. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account in two ways:

Option 1: Self-Service

  1. Log in to your Review Video account
  2. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account
  3. Type DELETE to confirm and submit

Your login is disabled and all account data anonymised immediately upon confirmation.

  • Send an email to [email protected]
  • Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Include the email address associated with your account
  • We will process your request within 30 days

    • 2. What Gets Deleted

    When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

    Generated videos Permanently deleted Within 30 days
    Saved reviews Permanently deleted Immediate
    Video generation history Permanently deleted Immediate
    Search and usage logs Permanently deleted Within 90 days
    Payment records Retained as required by law Up to 7 years (tax/accounting)

    3. Active Subscriptions

    If you have an active paid subscription when you request account deletion:

    • Your subscription will be cancelled immediately via Stripe
    • No further charges will be made
    • No refund will be issued for the remaining billing period, except where required by law
    • If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us before deleting your account

    4. Important Considerations

    • This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your data, videos, or saved reviews.
    • Download your content first. Before deleting your account, we recommend downloading any videos or data you wish to keep.
    • Already-published videos are not affected. Videos you have already downloaded and published to social media or other platforms will not be removed by us. You must remove them manually.
    • Re-registration. You are welcome to create a new account at any time, but your previous data will not be restored.

    5. Data Portability

    Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of your data. Under UK GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
