1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Review Video (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Review Video is a SaaS platform that enables users to:

• Search for businesses across public review platforms (Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Facebook, Tripadvisor)
• Select publicly available customer reviews
• Generate AI avatar videos that present those reviews in video format
• Download and use the generated videos for marketing and social media purposes

We do not create, fabricate, or alter review content. Reviews are sourced from publicly accessible platforms. The AI avatars used in videos are synthetic presenters and do not represent or impersonate the original reviewer.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use generated videos in a way that is misleading, defamatory, or deceptive
• Imply that an AI avatar is the actual person who wrote the review
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm any individual or business
• Generate videos containing hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Automated scraping, bulk access, or use of bots without our written consent
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights

6. Review Content and Your Rights to Use It

The reviews displayed and used in video generation are sourced from publicly available platforms or submitted directly by you. By generating a video you confirm that:

• You have the right to use the review content in a video — for example, you are the business owner, you have the reviewer's permission, or the content is publicly available and your use complies with the originating platform's terms
• You accept sole responsibility for ensuring your use of review content complies with the terms of any third-party platform (such as Google, Trustpilot, or Yelp) from which the review was sourced
• Review Video does not create, fabricate, or modify review content
• Review Video is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of third-party reviews
• Review Video does not endorse or verify any review or business
• Review Video may cache or store review text temporarily for performance and job-tracking purposes

If you are a reviewer and believe your review has been used in a way you did not authorise, please contact us and we will investigate promptly.

7. AI Avatars and Generated Content

Our Service uses AI-generated avatars to present review content in video format. Important points:

• AI avatars are synthetic characters and do not represent, impersonate, or depict the actual reviewer
• Avatars are licensed digital assets and may not be used outside of Review Video generated content without permission
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated videos complies with applicable laws and platform policies
• We recommend adding a disclaimer when publishing generated videos (e.g. "AI-generated presentation of a public review")

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, AI models, and avatar assets, is the property of Review Video and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of any original content you provide (e.g. business names, search queries). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Generated videos may be used by you for your marketing and social media purposes, subject to these Terms.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information. By using the Service, you consent to the processing described in the Privacy Policy and warrant that any information you provide is accurate.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Review data from third-party platforms will always be available or accurate
• Generated videos will meet your specific requirements
• AI avatar rendering will be free from defects

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Review Video will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Review Video, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, breach of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. See our Account Deletion page for details.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, or if required by law. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will be revoked
• Your generated videos and saved reviews will be deleted
• Any active subscription will be cancelled (no refund for the remaining period)

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
